Mathew Edwards
Founder and Managing Director

Mathew founded Nido Education Limited following the privatisation of the listed Think Childcare Limited (TNK) in 2021.
He has been involved in the child care sector since 2001 and was the Founder, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Think Childcare (ASX:TNK).
Mathew was responsible for overseeing the growth of Think Childcare, taking it from 30 centres at IPO to 88 Centres upon the sale of the business.

Tom joined Nido in April 2021 as Chief Financial Officer, playing an instrumental role in the delisting of Think Childcare, and in the establishment of Nido Education.
Tom was the CFO of Think Childcare, responsible for managing its acquisition from Busy Bees in 2021.
Tom's previous experience includes Head of Finance for the multi-site organisation, Coates Hire.

Tom joined Nido in May 2021 as Chief Technology Officer and has played a pivotal role in setting up Nido’s infrastructure for scale and growth.
He has overseen and managed major system transitions including the evolving aspects of cybersecurity.
Tom's previous experience included infrastructure role at Chanel Australia & New Zealand, Foodco Group, and Civic Video.

Kylie joined LEA/TNK in 2010 as an Area Manager and was appointed as Nido's Operations Director in September 2022. 
She is responsible for all aspects of Early School operations.
Kylie has worked in the Early Childhood Education and Care sector for over 29 years, holding various roles at Nido, including Learning and Development Manager and Quality Advisor.

With 25+ years’ experience in the child care sector, Amanda previously served as General Area Manager of LEA/TNK, responsible for all operations management across our Early Schools.
Amanda was appointed as Nido’s New Service Director in 2018, with responsibility for the delivery of new Early Schools into the portfolio.
She has overseen the development of 65+ new builds.

Megan joined Nido in April 2022 and was appointed as Director of People in October 2022.
She is responsible for managing our talent and retention strategy, and employee relations across the organisation. 
Megan was previously the National HR Manager for Woolworths Limited, overseeing a workforce of over 13,000 people.

Nadia Wilson-Ali
Education and Quality Director

Nadia joined Think Childcare in 2018 as Education and Quality Director.
She is responsible for implementing the national curriculum across Nido Early Schools.
Nadia is a Board Member and Secretary of First Hike Project, a Committee Member of the Early Learning and Care Council of Australia and an education consultative committee member of Edith Cowan University.

Mike joined Nido Education in January 2025 and is focussed on leveraging data insights to drive strategic decisions and improve operational efficiencies. 
Prior to joining Nido, Mike served as Chief Information Officer at Think Childcare from 2018 to 2021.


Adam joined Nido in February 2025 as Chief Executive Officer.
Adam brings extensive experience leading customer-focused, people-driven growth and transformation. 
His expertise spans a diverse range of industries and before joining us, he spent 18 years at PwC Australia where he most recently served as the Managing Partner of Sydney.
A purpose-driven leader, Adam has contributed to numerous not-for-profit boards and working groups.

Naomi joined Nido in August 2021 as Chief of Staff. 
Naomi is a multi-disciplinary leader, with diverse experience across Consumer Brands, FMCG, Healthcare and Services, and was previously the Executive Manager at EBOS Group Limited.
